Borge Mogensen Model 156 Chairs for Soborg Mobelfabrik
A rare set of four Model #156 dining chairs designed by Børge Mogensen and made by Søborg Møbelfabrik in 1952.
The seat and back rests of the chairs are teak plywood whilst the frames of the chairs are in oak. True to one of the main tenets of Mogensen’s practise the Model #156 design achieves through its humble proportions and shapes a feeling of serenity.
Under our care the chairs have been reglued and given a fresh coat of oil, however they remain in original and excellent cosmetic condition.
